FINISHED SIZE
38" x 50" (not including fringe).

MATERIALS
BERROCO NADIA (50 grs), 6 hanks #6725 Spice.
BERROCO MOHAIR CLASSIC (43 grs), 8 balls #A6422.
29" length circular knitting needle, size 15 OR SIZE TO OBTAIN GAUGE.
Crochet hook, size 6:50 mm (J).

GAUGE
5 sts = 2"; 3 rows = 1" strand NADIA and 1 strand MOHAIR CLASSIC worked together in St st.
TO SAVE TIME, TAKE TIME TO CHECK GAUGE.

NOTE
NADIA and MOHAIR CLASSIC are worked together throughout.

CHECKERBOARD PATTERN
* Row 1: K 33, p 30, k 33.
Row 2: K 3, p 30, k 30, p 30, k 3.
Rep these 2 rows 17 times more, end on Row 2.
Row 38: K 3, p 30, k 30, p 30, k 3.
Row 39: K 33, p 30, k 33.
Rep these 2 rows 17 times more, end on Row 38.
Rep from * once more for checkerboard pat.

THROW
With size 15 needle, using 1 strand NADIA and 1 strand MOHAIR CLASSIC, cast on 96 sts. K 4 rows. Work in Checkerboard Pat for 144 rows (4 rows of 3 blocks). K 4 rows. Bind off all sts.

FRINGE
Cut 3 15" long strands of NADIA and 3 15" long strands of MOHAIR CLASSIC. Put all strands together and fold in half. With crochet hook, draw center of strands through first st of throw on cast-on edge, forming a loop. Pull ends of fringe through this loop. In this manner, make fringe in every other st across entire cast-on edge of throw. Trim fringe ends to even off, if necessary. Work fringe across bound-off edge of throw.
