FINISHED SIZE
38" x 50" (not including fringe).
MATERIALS
BERROCO CHINCHILLA (50 grs), 14 balls #5101 Vanilla.
BERROCO GLACE (50 grs), 2 hanks #2001 Vanilla.
29" length circular knitting needle, size 9 OR SIZE TO OBTAIN GAUGE.
Crochet hook, 7:00 mm (K).
GAUGE
3 sts = 1" in St st or Fancy Rib Pat.
TO SAVE TIME, TAKE TIME TO CHECK GAUGE.
WE STRONGLY RECOMMEND that you knit a swatch of CHINCHILLA. With size 9 needles, cast on 12 sts and work in St st for 4". Bind off loosely. Your swatch should measure 4" square. If not, change needle size.
FANCY RIB PATTERN
Row 1: * K 2, p 2, rep from * to last 3 sts, end k 2, p 1.
Rep this row for Fancy Rib Pat.
THROW
With size 9 needle, cast on 115 sts. Work even in Fancy Rib Pat until piece measures 50" from beg. Bind off all sts.
FRINGE
Cut 4 14" long strands of Chinchilla and 4 14" long strands of Glace. Put all strands together and fold in half. With crochet hook, draw center of strands through first stitch of throw on cast-on edge, forming a loop. Pull ends of fringe through this loop. In this manner, make fringe every 1" across entire cast-on edge of throw. Trim fringe ends to even off, if necessary. Work fringe across bound –off edge of throw.
