in SensuWool and Chinchilla. Ribbed to fit and flatter, trimmed with bands of Chinchilla.

SIZES
Directions are for women’s size X-Small. Changes for sizes Small, Medium, Large, X-Large and XX-Large are in parentheses.

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
Bust - 34-1/2(37-39-1/2-42-45-47)”.
Length - 21-1/2(21-1/2-22-22-1/2-23-23-1/2)”.

MATERIALS
BERROCO SENSUWOOL® (50 grs), 12(12-13-14-15-16) balls #6531 Oregano (MC).
BERROCO CHINCHILLA (50 grs), 1(1-2-2-2-3) balls #5531 Oregano (CC).
Straight knitting needles, size 7 OR SIZE TO OBTAIN GAUGE.
Crochet hook, size 4.00 mm (F).

GAUGE
11 sts = 2”; 15 rows = 2” in Rib Pat.
TO SAVE TIME, TAKE TIME TO CHECK GAUGE.

RIB PAT (multiple of 7 sts plus 4)
Row 1 (RS):
K 4, * p 1, k 1, p 1, k 4; rep from * across.
Row 2: K 1, p 3, * k 1, sl 1 purlwise WYIF, k 1, p 4; rep from * end p 3, k 1 instead of p 4.
Rep these 2 rows for Rib Pat.

BACK
With size 7 needles and CC, loosely cast on 95(102-109-116-123-130) sts. Work in rib pat for 1-3/4”. Change to MC and continue in rib pat until piece measures 13” from beg, end on WS.
Shape Armholes: Bind off 3(3-4-5-5-5) sts at beg of next 2 rows, bind off 2 sts at beg of next 2(2-2-2-4-6) rows, dec 1 st each side every other row 2(4-5-6-6-6) times. Work even on 81(84-87-90-93-96) sts until armholes measure 7-1/2(7-1/2-8-8-1/2-9-9-1/2)”, end on WS.
Shape Neck and Shoulders: Bind off 4(5-6-6-6-7) sts at beg of the next row, work until there are 25(25-25-26-28-28) sts on RH needle, join another ball of yarn and bind off center 23(24-25-26-
25-26) sts, work to end. Working on both sides at once, bind off 4(5-6-6-6-7) sts at beg of the next row, bind off 5(5-5-6-6-6) sts at beg of the next 2 rows, then bind off 5(5-5-5-6-6) sts at beg of the next 4 rows. AT THE SAME TIME, bind off 5 sts at each neck edge twice.

FRONT
Work as for back until armholes measure 6-1/2(6-1/2-7-7-1/2-8-8-1/2)”.
Shape Neck: Work 31(32-33-34-
36-37) sts, join another ball of yarn and bind off center 19(20-21-22-
21-22) sts, work to end. Working both sides at once, bind off 3 sts from each neck edge every other row twice, bind off 2 sts twice, dec 1 st every other row twice and AT SAME TIME, shape shoulder when same length as back.

SLEEVES
With size 7 needles and CC, loosely cast on 44(44-46-46-46-46) sts.
Row 1 (RS): K 3(3-4-4-4-4), * p 1, k 1, p 1, k 4; rep from * end last rep k 3(3-4-4-4-4). Establish rib pat as for back and work for 1G" Change to MC and continue in rib pat inc 1 st each side every 6th row 14(14-12-7-5-3) times, then every 4th row 0(0-4-12-16-20) times. Work even on 72(72-78-84-88-92) sts until piece measures 17-1/2” from beg, end on WS.
Shape Cap: Bind off 3(3-4-5-5-5) sts at beg of next 2 rows, bind off 2 sts at beg of next 6 rows. Dec 1 st each side every other row 12(12-14-16-18-20) times. Bind off 2 sts at beg of next 6 rows. Bind off remaining 18 sts.

FINISHING
Steam pieces (See instructions on page 1). Sew shoulder seams. Set sleeves into armholes. Sew side and sleeve seams. With RS facing, using crochet hook and MC, sc evenly around neck edge. Ch 1, do not turn, but working backwards (from left to right), * work 1 backwards sc in next sc, ch 1, skip 1 sc; rep from * around. Join with a sl st in first sc. Fasten off.
