SIZES
Directions are for women’s size Small. Changes for sizes Medium, Large and X Large are in parentheses.

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
Bust - 36(40-44-48)”.
Length - 20(20-1/2-21-21-1/2)”.

MATERIALS
BERROCO GLACE (50 grs), 8(8-9-10) hanks #2363 Midnight..
Straight knitting needles, sizes 6 and 8 OR SIZE TO OBTAIN GAUGE.
Crochet hook, size 3.00 mm (D).

GAUGE
9 sts = 2"; 15 rows = 2" in St st.
TO SAVE TIME, TAKE TIME TO CHECK GAUGE.

BACK
With smaller needles, cast on 82(90-98-106) sts.
Row 1 (RS): P 2, * k 6, p 2, rep from * across.
Row 2: K 2, * p 6, k 2, rep from * across. Rep these 2 rows for 1-3/4”, end on WS. Change to larger needles and k the next row, inc 0(0-2-2) sts evenly spaced across - 82(90-100-108) sts. Beg with a p row, work even in St st until piece measures 12" from beg, end on WS.
Shape Armholes: Bind off 4(4-6-7) sts at beg of the next 2 rows, then dec 1 st each side every RS row 5(7-8-9) times. Work even on 64(68-72-78) sts until armholes measure 4(4-1/2-5-5-1/2)”, end on WS.
Shape Neck: Work 30(32-34-36) sts, k 2 tog, join another ball of yarn and SKP, k to end. Working both sides at once, bind off 2 sts at each neck edge 11(13-13-15) times, then dec 1 st at each neck edge every other row 4(2-2-0) times. When all bind offs and decs have been completed and armholes measure 8(8-1/2-9-9-1/2)”, end on WS. Bind off 5(5-7-7) sts each side for shoulders.

FRONT
Work same as for back.

FINISHING
Steam pieces. Sew shoulder and sideseams.
Neck Edging: With RS facing, using crochet hook, join yarn at left shoulder seam. Working from LEFT TO RIGHT, work in sc around entire neck edge, join with a sl st in first sc. Fasten off.
Armhole Edging: Beg at sideseams, work same as for neck edging.
