3 - MOHAIR CLASSIC THROW
MATERIALS
BERROCO MOHAIR CLASSIC (43 grs), 14 balls #A6404.
29" length circular knitting needle, size 9 OR SIZE TO OBTAIN GAUGE.
Crochet hook, size 4.50 mm (G).
GAUGE
4 sts = 1" in Rib Pat.
TO SAVE TIME, TAKE TIME TO CHECK GAUGE.
RIB PAT
Row 1 (RS): K 1, * p 1, k 1, rep from * across.
Row 2: Purl.
Rep these 2 rows for Rib Pat.
THROW
With size 9 needles, cast on 169 sts. K 6 rows. Keeping 4 sts at each side in Garter St, work even in Rib Pat until piece measures 55" from beg, end on WS. K 6 rows. Bind off all sts.
FRINGE
Cut 2 18" long strands of yarn. Put strands tog and fold in half. With crochet hook, draw center of strands through first st of cast-on edge of throw, forming a lp. Pull ends of fringe through this lp. In this manner, make fringe in each st across entire cast-on and bound-off edges of throw. Trim fringe to even off, if necessary. Steam throw lightly (See instructions on page 1).
4 - MOHAIR CLASSIC & EUROPA THROW
MATERIALS
BERROCO MOHAIR CLASSIC (43 grs), 14 balls #B8116 (A).
BERROCO EUROPA (50 grs), 11 balls #1218 Cherry Berries (B).
29" length circular knitting needle, size 10H OR SIZE TO OBTAIN GAUGE.
Crochet hook, size 5.00 mm (H).
GAUGE
7 sts = 2" in Rib Pat.
TO SAVE TIME, TAKE TIME TO CHECK GAUGE.
NOTE
A and B are worked tog throughout.
THROW
With size 10H needle, using 1 strand each of A and B held tog, cast on 147 sts. Work same as for #3.
FRINGE
Cut 1 18" long strand each of A and B. Complete same as for #3.
5 - MOHAIR CLASSIC & CELESTE THROW
MATERIALS
BERROCO MOHAIR CLASSIC (43 grs), 12 balls #B1138 (A).
BERROCO CELESTE (50 grs), 10 balls
#4008 Moody Blues (B).
29" length circular knitting needle, size 11
OR SIZE TO OBTAIN GAUGE.
Crochet hook, size 5.50 mm (I).
GAUGE
3 sts = 1" in Rib Pat.
TO SAVE TIME, TAKE TIME TO CHECK GAUGE.
NOTE
A and B are worked tog throughout.
THROW
With size 11 needles, using 1 strand each of A and B held tog, cast on 127 sts. Work same as for #3.
FRINGE
Cut 1 18" long strand each of A and B. Complete same as for #3.
