SIZES
Directions are for women’s size X Small. Changes for sizes Small, Medium and Large are in parentheses.

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
Bust – 36(39-411/2-44)”.
Length – 19(191/2-201/2-21)”.

MATERIALS
BERROCO SMART COTTON (50 grs) 13 (14-15-16) balls #1342 Cinnamon.
Straight knitting needles, sizes 5 and 7 OR SIZE TO OBTAIN GAUGE.
16" length circular knitting needle, size 5.
Cable needle (cn)
2 Stitch holders
1 St Marker

GAUGE
27 sts = 4"; 30 rows = 4" in Cable Pat with size 7 needles.
TO SAVE TIME, TAKE TIME TO CHECK GAUGE.

CABLE PAT (multiple of 9 sts plus 3)
Row 1 (RS):
P3, *k6, p3; rep from * to end.
Row 2 and all WS rows: K3, *p6, k3; rep from * to end.
Rows 3, 5, 9 and 11: Rep Row 1.
Row 7: P3, *sl 3 sts to cn and hold in FRONT, k3, k3 from cn, p3; rep from * to end.
Row 12: Rep row 2.
Rep rows 1-12 for Cable Pat.

BACK
With smaller straight needles, cast on 117(125-135-143) sts.
Row 1 (RS): K1TBL, * p1, k1TBL, rep from * across.
Row 2: P1TBL, * k1, p1TBL, rep from * across. Rep these 2 rows for 13/4”, inc 5(6-5-6) sts evenly across last WS row. Change to larger needles. Work in Cable Pat over 122(131-140-149) sts as foll: P1, work row 1 of cable pat over next 120(129-138-147) sts, p1. Continue in pat as established until piece measures 19(191/2-201/2-21)” from beg.
Next row (RS): Bind off 34(38-42-46) sts for shoulder, work until there are 54(55-56-57) sts on RH needle and place sts on a holder for neck, bind off remaining 34(38-42-46) sts for other shoulder.

FRONT
Work same as back.

SLEEVES
With smaller straight needles, cast on 65 sts and work in ribbing same as for back for 13/4”, inc 1 st in center of last WS row. Change to larger needles. Work in Cable Pat on 66 sts, inc 1 st each side (working inc sts in Reverse St st) every 4th row 5(14-12-9) times, then every 6th(0-2nd-2nd) row 6(0-4-10) times. Work even on 88(94-98-104) sts until piece measures 10" from beg. Bind off all sts.

FINISHING
Steam pieces (See instructions on page 1). Sew shoulder seams.
Neckband: With RS facing and circular needle, work 54(55-56-57) sts from back neck holder, pick up 1 st in seam, work 54(55-56-57) sts from front holder, pick up 1 st in seam. Mark for beg of round and carry marker up. Work around in St st (k every round) on 110(112-114-116) sts for 2". Bind off loosely.
Place markers 7(71/2-8-81/2)” down from shoulder seams on front and back for armholes. Sew in sleeve between markers. Sew side and sleeve seams.
