SIZES
Directions are for women’s size Small. Changes for size Medium/Large and X Large are in parentheses.

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
Bust – 44 (48-52)".
Length – 24 (24-1/2-25)".

MATERIALS
BERROCO FURZ (50 grs), 19(20-21) balls #3822 Plum.
Straight knitting needles, sizes 7 and 9 OR SIZE TO OBTAIN GAUGE.
16" length circular needle size 7
Cable needle (cn).

GAUGE
15 sts = 2"; 19 rows = 4" in Cable Pat with size 9 needles.
TO SAVE TIME, TAKE TIME TO CHECK GAUGE.

STITCH GLOSSARY
K3, P2 RIB (multiple of 5 sts)
Row 1 (RS):
P1, *k3, p2; rep from *, end last rep p1.
Row 2: K the knit sts and p the purl sts.
Rep rows 1 and 2 for k3, p2 rib.

CABLE PATTERN (multiple of 30 sts)
Rows 1-4:
Work in St st.
Row 5 (RS): *K10, 20-st BC (sl 10 sts to cn and hold in BACK of work, k10, k10 from cn); rep from * to end.
Rows 6-12: Work in St st.
Row 13: *20-st FC (sl 10 sts to cn and hold in FRONT of work, k10, k10 from cn), K10; rep from * to end.
Rows 14-16: Work in St st.
Rep rows 1-16 for cable pat.

BACK
With smaller needles, cast on 160 (180-190) sts. Work in K3, P2 Rib for 1", inc 0(2-0) sts on last row. Continue in cable pat on 160(182-190) sts as follows:
Next Row (RS): K5(1-5), work 30-st rep of cable pat 5(6-6) times, k5(1-5). Continue in pat as established, working first and last 5(1-5) sts in St st, until piece measures 24(24-1/2-25)" from beg. Bind off all sts.

FRONT
Work same as back until piece measures 22(22-1/2-23)" from beg, end on WS.
Shape Neck: Next Row (RS): Work 64 (75-79) sts, join 2nd ball of yarn and bind off center 32 sts, work to end. Working both sides at once, bind off at each neck edge 3 sts once, 2 sts twice, then dec 1 st once. Work even, if necessary, until same length as back. Bind off remaining 56(67-71) sts each side for shoulders.

SLEEVES
With smaller needles, cast on 60 sts and work in K3, P2 Rib for 1", inc 8 sts evenly across last row. Continue in cable pat on 68 sts as follows: K4, work 30-st rep of cable pat twice, k4. Continue in pat as established, inc 1 st each side (working incs into Cable Pat) every other row 16(24-32) times, every 4th row 10(6-2) times. Work even on 120 (128-136) sts until piece measures 18" from beg. Bind off all sts.

FINISHING
Sew shoulder seams.
Neckband: With RS facing using circular needle, pick up and k60 sts evenly around neck edge. Mark for beg of round and carry marker up. Work in K3, P2 rib for 7". Bind off in rib.
Place markers 8(8-1/2-9)" down from shoulder seam on front and back for armholes. Sew top of sleeves between markers. Sew side and sleeve seams.
