MATERIALS
BERROCO DEJA VU (50 grs), 11(11-12-13) balls #9622 Plum (MC).
BERROCO SENSUWOOL (50 grs), 3(3-4-4) balls #6422 Plum (CC).
Straight knitting needles, sizes 7, 8 and 10 OR SIZE TO OBTAIN GAUGE.
GAUGE
24 sts = 8-1/2"; 5 rows = 1" in Reverse St st with DEJA VU on size 10 needles.
TO SAVE TIME, TAKE TIME TO CHECK GAUGE.
NOTE
Pullover is worked in one piece, beg at lower front edge.
NOTE 2
To avoid unwanted patterning when working with Deja Vu, we recommend working with two balls alternately, working two rows with each ball.
FRONT
With size 8 needles and MC, cast on 52(57-60-65) sts loosely. Work in K1, P1 Rib for 1-1/2". Change to size 10 needles and work in Reverse St st, inc 1 st each side every 6th row 5 times. Work even on 62(67-70-75) sts until piece measures 8" from beg. Inc 1 st each side every 4th row 3 times, then every 2nd row 6 times. Work even on 80(85-88-93) sts until piece measures 13" from beg, end on WS.
SLEEVES
Cast on 2 sts at beg of next 18(20-18-18) rows, then 1(0-3-3) sts at beg of next 2(0-2-2) rows. Work even on 118(125-130-135) sts until piece measures 19(19-1/2-20-20)" from beg, end on WS.
Shape Neck: Next Row (RS): Work 55(58-61-63) sts, join 2nd ball of yarn and bind off center 8(9-8-9) sts, work to end. Working both sides at once, bind off at each neck edge 3 sts once, then dec 1 st every other row 4 times. Work even, if necessary, until piece measures 21-1/2(22-22-1/2-22-1/2)" from beg. Place marker each end of row for center of work. On next row, cast on 22(23-22-23) sts in center of work for back neck and work on all 118(125-130-135) sts until piece measures 4-1/2(5-5-1/2-5-1/2)" from marker. Bind off 1(0-3-3) sts at beg of next 2(0-2-2) rows, then 2 sts at beg of next 18(20-18-18) rows. Dec 1 st each side every 2nd row 6 times, then every 4th row 3 times. Work even until 13-1/2(14-14-1/2-14-1/2)" from markers. Dec 1 st each side every 6th row 5 times. Work even on 52(57-60-65) sts until piece measures 20(20-1/2-21-21)" from marker. Change to smaller needles and work in K1, P1 Rib for 1-1/2". Bind off all sts loosely in rib.
SLEEVE CUFFS
With size 7 needles and CC, cast on 42(42-46-46) sts and work in K2, P2 Rib for 8". Bind off in rib.
COLLAR
With size 7 needles and CC, cast on 102 sts. Work in K2, P2 rib for 9". Bind off in rib.
FINISHING
Sew cuffs to end of sleeves, stretching to fit. Sew collar around neckband with opening at center back. Sew center back collar seam. Fold collar in half to WS and sew in place. Fold body in half at markers and sew side and sleeve seams.
