SIZES
Directions are for women’s size X Small. Changes for size Small, Medium, Large and X Large are in parentheses.

 

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
Bust – 37(40-43-46-49)".
Length – 25-1/2 (26-26-1/2-27-27-1/2)".

 

MATERIALS
BERROCO LINET (50 grs), 12(13-14-15-16) hanks #3101 Crème Fraiche.
Straight knitting needles, size 7 OR SIZE TO OBTAIN GAUGE.
Crochet hook, size 4.50 mm (G).

 

GAUGE
5 sts = 1"; 7 rows = 1" in Lace Pat with size 7 needles.
TO SAVE TIME, TAKE TIME TO CHECK GAUGE.

 

LACE PAT (multiple of 3 sts)
Row 1 (RS): K2, *yo, SSK, k1; rep from *, end last rep k2 instead of k1.
Row 2: P2, *yo, p2tog, k1; rep from *, end last rep p2 instead of k1.
Rep rows 1 and 2 for Lace Pat.

 

NOTE
When shaping in Lace Pat, if there is not a yo to compensate for every dec, and vice versa, then omit dec or inc.

 

BACK
Work same as May until piece measures 18", end on WS. Work armhole shaping and complete same as May.

 

FRONT
Work same as May, keeping length as for April.

 

SLEEVES
Cast on 51(51-51-54-54) sts and work in Lace Pat, inc 1 st each side (working inc sts into Lace Pat, inside of 2 St st sts) every 10th(8th-6th-6th-6th) row 4(8-8-6-18) times, then every 12th(10th-8th-8th-0) row 5(4-7-9-0) times. Work even on 69(75-81-84-90) sts until piece measures 15-1/2(16-16-16-1/2-16-1/2)" from beg, end on WS.
Shape Cap: Work same as back armhole shaping. Bind off remaining 45(51-57-60-66) sts.

 

FINISHING
Sew shoulder seams. Set in sleeves. Sew side and sleeve seams.
Neckband: With RS facing, using crochet hook, work 3 rnds sc evenly around neck edge.
Work in same way along lower edge of body and sleeves.
