In Metallic FX and Linet. Our wide cropped pullover is knit with two needle sizes doubling and single stranding.

 

Shown in size Small.

SIZES
Directions are for women’s size Small. Changes for size Medium, Large, X Large and XX Large are in parentheses.

 

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
Bust – 45 (48-51-54-57)".
Length – 19-1/2(20-20-1/2-21-21-1/2)".

 

MATERIALS
BERROCO LINET (50 grs), 7(8-8-9-9) hanks #3105 Silver Gray (A).
BERROCO METALLIC FX (25 grs), 8(9-9-10-10) hanks #1002 Silver (B).
Straight knitting needles, size 11 OR SIZE TO OBTAIN GAUGE.
16" length circular knitting needle, size 11.
Crochet hook, size 4.50 mm (G).

 

GAUGE
14 sts = 4"; 20 rows = 4" in St st and Stripe Pat on size 11 needles.
TO SAVE TIME, TAKE TIME TO CHECK GAUGE.

 

STRIPE PAT
Work in St st as follows: * 6 rows with A and B held tog, 2 rows A, 2 rows B, 2 rows A, 6 rows with A and B held tog, 2 rows B, 2 rows A, 2 rows B; rep from * for Stripe Pat (24 rows).

 

BACK
With straight needles, using 1 strand each A and B held tog, cast on 79(85-89-95-100) sts. Work even in Stripe Pat for 191/2(20-20-1/2-21-21-1/2)", end on WS. Bind off all sts.

 

FRONT
Work same as for back until piece measures 17(17-1/2-18-18-1/2-19)" from beg, end on WS.
Shape Neck: Next Row (RS): K30(33-34-37-39) sts, join another hank of yarn and bind off center 19(19-21-21-22) sts, k to end. Working both sides at once, dec 1 st at each neck edge every other row 3 times. Work even until same length as back. Bind off remaining 27(30-31-34-36) sts each side for shoulders.

 

SLEEVES
With straight needles, using 1 strand each A and B held tog, cast on 49(52-56-63-67) sts. Work even in Stripe Pat for 5-1/2(5-1/2-5-1/2-6-6)". Bind off all sts.

 

FINISHING
Steam pieces lightly. Sew shoulder seams.
Neckband: With RS facing, using circular needle and 1 strand each A and B held tog, beg at center back neck, pick up and k 66(66-70-70-72) sts evenly around neck edge. Mark for beg of round and carry marker up. Join and work in St st (k EVERY rnd) and Stripe Pat for 8". Bind off all sts loosely. Fold band in half to WS and sew in place.
Measure down 7(7-1/2-8-9-9-1/2)" from shoulder seams on front and back and mark for armholes. Sew top of sleeve between markers. Sew side and sleeve seams.
With RS facing, using crochet hook, beg at side and sleeve seams, work 1 row sc evenly around lower edge of body and sleeves.
