BERROCO PRONTO (50 grs), 6(7-7-8) balls #4410 Turquoise.
Straight knitting needles, size 10-1/2 OR SIZE TO OBTAIN GAUGE.
29" length circular knitting needle, size 10-1/2.
5 1" BERROCO buttons, #A356 Teal.
2 St Holders.

13 sts = 4"; 19 rows = 4" in St st.

NOTE
This garment is worked in one piece to underarms, then split for back and fronts.
SKIRT
With circular needle, cast on 124(130-136-146) sts. Work even in Garter St for 2" then, keeping 4 sts each side in Garter St and remaining sts in St st, work even until piece measures 2-1/2(2-3/4-3-3-1/2)" from beg, end on WS.
Buttonhole Row (RS): K2, yo, k2 tog, k to end. Continue to work even in pat as established, making 2 more buttonholes 2-1/2(2-3/4-3-3-1/2)" apart. Work even until skirt measures 10(11-12-14)" from beg, end on RS.
Dec Row (WS): K4, p to last 4 sts, decreasing 56(56-54-54) sts evenly spaced across, end k4 – 68(74-82-92) sts. Change to straight needles.
Bodice: Next Row (RS): K2, yo, k2 tog, k to end. Keeping 4 sts each side in Garter St and remaining sts in St st, work even for 1-1/4(1-1/2-1-3/4-2)", end on WS.
Establish Armhole Bands: Row 1 (RS): Knit.
Row 2: K4, p11(13-15-18), k5, p28(30-34-38), k5, p11(13-15-18), k4.
Row 3: Knit.
Row 4: K4, p10(12-14-17), k7, p26(28-32-36), k7, p10(12-14-17), k4.
Bodice Back (RS): K16(18-20-23) and sl these sts onto first holder for right front, bind off 3 sts, k until there are 30(32-36-40) sts on RH needle, sl last 19(21-23-26) sts onto second holder for left front.
Next Row (WS): K2, p26(28-32-36), k2.
Shape Armholes: Row 1 (RS): K2, SSK, k to last 4 sts, k2 tog, k2.
Row 2: K2, p to last 2 sts, k2. Rep these 2 rows twice more, then work even on 24(26-30-34) sts, keeping 2 sts each side in Garter St and remaining sts in St st. When armholes measure 4-3/4(5-5-1/4-5-1/2)", end on RS.
Back Neckband: Row 1 (WS): K2, p3(4-5-6), k14(14-16-18), p3(4-5-6), k2.
Row 2: Knit.
Row 3: K2, p2(3-4-5), k16(16-18-20), p2(3-4-5), k2. Bind off all sts for shoulder and back neck.
Right Front: With WS facing, join yarn at armhole edge and k2, p10(12-14-17), k4 from first holder – 16(18-20-23) sts.
Shape Armhole: Row 1 (RS): K to last 4 sts, k2 tog, k2.
Row 2: K2, p to last 4 sts, k4. Rep these 2 rows twice more – 13(15-17-20) sts. Work even, keeping 4 sts at front edge and 2 sts at armhole edge in Garter St and remaining sts in St st, and making last buttonhole when armhole measures 3/4(1-1-1/4-1-1/2)". When armhole measures 1-1/4(1-1/2-1-3/4-2)", end on WS.
Shape Neck: Row 1 (RS): Bind off 2 sts, k to end.
Row 2: K2, p to last 2 sts, k2.
Row 3: K2, SSK, k to end.
Row 4: Rep Row 2. Rep Rows 3 and 4 4(5-6-8) times more – 6(7-8-9) sts. Keeping sts each side in Garter St and remaining sts in St st, work even until armhole measures 5-1/4(5-1/2-5-3/4-6)", end on WS. Bind off all sts.
Left Front: With RS facing, sl 19(21-23-26) sts from second holder to straight needle. Join yarn at armhole edge and bind off 3 sts, k to end. Complete to correspond to right front, reversing all shaping and working armhole decs as k2, SSK and neck decs as k2 tog, k2.
FINISHING
Steam dress lightly. Sew shoulder seams. Sew on buttons.
