BACK
With smaller straight needles, cast on 101(113-125-137-155) sts
Row 1 RS): K1, * p1, k1, rep from * across.
Row 2: P1, * k1, p1, rep from * across. Rep these 2 rows until piece measures 1 from beg, end on Row 1. Change to larger needles and p the next row, decreasing 16(18-20-22-24) sts evenly spaced across 85(95-105-115-131) sts. Work even in St st until piece measures 2-1/2 from beg, end on WS.
Shape Waist: Dec Row (RS): K2, SSK, k to last 4 sts, k2 tog, k2. Rep this dec every 3/4 4 times more, end on WS 75(85-95-105-121) sts. Piece should measure 5-1/2 from beg. Work even for 1-1/2, end on WS.
Inc Row (RS): K2, M1k, k to last 2 sts, M1k, k2. Rep this inc every other RS row 4 times more, end on WS 85(95-105-115-131) sts. Work even until piece measures 11-1/2 from beg, end on WS.

Shape Raglan Armholes: Row 1 (RS): Bind off 2 sts, p1, M1k, k2, M1k, p1, k to end.
Row 2: Bind off 2 sts, k1, M1p, p2, M1p, k1, p to last 7 sts, k1, p4, k1, p1 85(95-105-115-131) sts.
Row 3: Work Row 1 of Cable Pat 1 over 7 sts, SSK, k to last 9 sts, k2 tog, work Row 1 of Cable Pat 2 to end (2 sts decd).
Row 4: Work Row 2 of Cable Pat 2 over 7 sts, p to last 7 sts, work Row 2 of Cable Pat 1 to end.

FRONT
Work same as for back until Rows 3 and 4 of armhole shaping have been completed once 83(93-103-113-129) sts.
For sizes X-Small and Small ONLY: Rows 5 and 6: Work even in pats as established. Rep Rows 3-6 6(1) times more, then rep Rows 3 and 4 12(22) times, end on WS sts.
For sizes Medium, Large and X-Large ONLY: Rep Rows 3 and 4 27(22-23) times more, end on WS.
For sizes Large and X-Large ONLY: Next Row (RS): Rep Row 3 (2 sts decd).
Next Row (WS): Work Cable Pat 2 over 7 sts, p2 tog, p to last 9 sts, p2 tog, TBL, work Cable Pat 1 to end (2 sts decd). Rep the last 2 rows 4(7) times more, end on WS.
AT THE SAME TIME, For ALL sizes: When armholes measure7(7-7-1/2-7-1/2-8) and there are 47(47-51-61-63) sts on needle, end on WS.
Shape Neck: Work Cable Pat 1 over 7 sts, SSK, k4(4-5-10-10), join another ball of yarn and bind off center 21(21-23-23-25) sts, k4(4-5-10-10), k2 tog, work Cable Pat 2 to end. Working both sides at once, continue to work armhole decs and AT THE SAME TIME, dec 1 st at each neck edge every other row 4 times, then EVERY row 3 times. Fasten off.
LEFT SLEEVE
With smaller straight needles, cast on 59 sts. Work in ribbing same as for back for 1, end on Row 1. Change to larger needles and p the next row, decreasing 9 sts evenly spaced across 50 sts. Work in St st, inc 1 st each side every 4th row 0(0-0-2-8) times, every 6th row 0(0-5-13-9) times, every 8th row 6(6-7-0-0) times, then every 10th row 4(4-0-0-0) times 70(70-74-80-84) sts. Work even until sleeve measures 14-1/2(14-1/2-14-1/4-14-1/4-14-1/4) from beg, end on WS.
Note: Work decs at beg of RS rows as SSK after 7 sts of Cable Pat 1. Work decs at end of RS rows as k2 tog before 7 sts of Cable Pat 2. WS rows are always worked even until bind off rows at the end.
Shape Raglan Cap: Rep Rows 1 and 2 of armhole shaping for back 70(70-74-80-84)sts. Working Cable Pats at each side in same manner as for back, work decs at beg of RS rows every 4th row 7(7-7-4-4) times, then every other row 21(21-23-29-31) times. Work decs at end of RS rows every 4th row 4(4-3-0-0) times, then every other row 24(24-27-33-35) times. When all decs at end of RS rows have been completed, continue to work decs at beg of RS rows and AT THE SAME TIME, bind off 5 sts at beg of the next 2 WS rows, then bind off 4 sts at beg of the last WS row.
RIGHT SLEEVE
Work to correspond to left sleeve, reversing shaping of sleeve cap.
FINISHING
Steam pieces. Sew raglan sleeve caps to raglan armholes. Sew side and sleeve seams.
Turtleneck: With RS facing, using circular needle, beg at center back neck, pick up and k18(18-19-19-20) sts across back neck edge, 12 sts across top of left sleeve, 9 sts along left front neck edge, 24(24-26-26-28) sts across front neck edge, 9 sts along right front neck edge, 12 sts across top of right sleeve and 18(18-19-19-20) sts across remaining back neck edge 102(102-106-106-110) sts. Mark for beg of round and carry marker up. Work even in k1, p1 ribbing for 8-1/2. Bind off all sts in ribbing.
