Establish Pat Sts: Row 1 (RS): Work Row 1 of Double Seed St over 5(9-13-17) sts, * work Row 1 of Cable Pat over 8 sts twice, work Row 1 of Diamond Pat over 29 sts, work Row 1 of Cable Pat over 8 sts twice. * work Row 1 of Double Seed St over 9 sts, rep between *'s once more, work Row 1 of Double Seed St over 5(9-13-17) sts.

Row 2: Work Row 2 of Cable Pat over 8 sts twice, work Row 2 of Diamond Pat over 29 sts, work Row 2 of Cable Pat over 8 sts twice, work Row 2 of Double Seed St over 5(9-13-17) sts. Work even in pats as established until piece measures 14" from beg, end on WS. Mark end of last row for beg of armhole. Work even until armhole measures 5(5 1/2-6-6 1/2)", end on RS.

Shape Neck: Next row (WS): Bind off 16 sts, work to end - 50(54-58-62) sts. Continuing to work in pats as established, dec 1 st at neck edge every RS row 6 times - 44(48-52-56) sts. Work even until armhole measures 7 1/2(8-8 1/2-9)", end on WS. Bind off.

RIGHT FRONT
Work same as left front, reversing pat sts placement and binding off for neck on RS row.

SLEEVES
With smaller needles, cast on 53(53-57-57) sts. Work in ribbing same as back for 2", end on WS increasing 22 sts across last row - 75(75-79-79) sts. Change to larger needles.

Establish Pat Sts: Row 1 (RS): Work Row 1 of Double Seed St over 7(7-9-9) sts, work Row 1 of Cable Pat over 8 sts twice, work Row 1 of Diamond Pat over 29 sts, work Row 1 of Cable Pat over 8 sts twice, work Row 1 of Double Seed St over 7(7-9-9) sts.

Row 2: Work Row 2 of Double Seed St over 7(7-9-9) sts, work Row 2 of Cable Pat over 8 sts twice, work Row 2 of Diamond Pat over 29 sts, work Row 2 of Cable Pat over 8 sts twice, work Row 2 of Double Seed St over 7(7-9-9) sts. Work in pats as established, inc 1 st each side every 1( 3/4-3/4-3/4)" 15(18-19-22) times working incs in Double Seed St - 105(111-117-123) sts. Work even until piece measures 19" from beg, end on WS. Bind off.

FINISHING
Sew shoulder seams. Sew on sleeves between markers. Sew side and sleeve seams.

Left Frontband: With RS facing, using smaller needles, beg at neck edge, pick up and k115(121 127-133) sts along Left Front edge. Beg with Row 2, work in ribbing same as back for 1", end on WS. Bind off in ribbing.

Right Frontband: Beg at lower edge, work same as left frontband for 3 rows, end on WS - 115(121-127-133) sts.

Buttonhole Row (RS): Work 4(5-5-6) sts, bind off 2 sts, * work until there are 19(20-21-22) sts on RH needle after bound-off sts, bind off 2 sts, rep from * 4 times more, work to end.

Following Row: Work in ribbing as established, cast on 2 sts over each pair of sts bound off on previous row - 115(121-127-133) sts. Complete same as left frontband.

Collar: With smaller needles, cast on 99(103-107-111) sts.

Establish Pat St: Row 1 (RS): Work Row 1 of Double Seed St over 5 sts, k1, * p1, k1, rep from * to last 5 sts, work Row 1 of Double Seed St to end.

Row 2: Work Row 2 of Double Seed St over 5 sts, p1, * k1, p1, rep from * to last 5 sts, work Row 2 of Double Seed St to end. Work even in pats as established until collar measures 3 1/2" from beg, end on WS. Discontinue ribbing and work in Double Seed St on all sts for 4 rows, end on WS. Bind off in pat. Sew cast-on edge of collar to neck edge beginning and ending 1/2" in from bound-off edge of ribbing on each side.

SCARF

With larger needles, cast on 61 sts.

Establish Pat Sts: Row 1 (RS): Work Row 1 of Cable Pat over 8 sts twice, work Row 1 of Diamond Pat over 29 sts, work Row 1 of Cable Pat over 8 sts twice.

Row 2: Work Row 2 of Cable Pat over 8 sts twice, work Row 2 of Diamond Pat over 29 sts, work Row 2 of Cable Pat over 8 sts twice. Work even in pats as established until 48 rows of Diamond Pat have been completed a total of 11 times, end on WS. Piece should measure approximately 60"
from beg. Bind off.
