29” length circular knitting needle, size 17 OR SIZE TO OBTAIN GAUGE.

Straight knitting needles, size 17 OR SIZE TO OBTAIN GAUGE.
One 16” square knife-edge pillow form.

THROW

8 sts = 4”; 12 rows = 4” in St st following Stripe Pat.
TO SAVE TIME, TAKE TIME TO CHECK GAUGE.
Throw: With circular needle, using A, cast on 60 sts. Working in St st, work Stripe Pat as follows: (2 rows A, 2 rows B) 10 times; (2 rows C, 2 rows D) 10 times; (2 rows E, 2 rows F) 10 times; (2 rows G, 2 rows H) 10 times; (2 rows E, 2 rows F) 10 times; (2 rows C, 2 rows D) 10 times; (2 rows A, 2 rows B) 10 times. Bind off all sts.
PILLOW 2a
GAUGE
8 sts = 4”; 12 rows = 4” in St st without stretching.
TO SAVE TIME, TAKE TIME TO CHECK GAUGE.
Pillow: With straight needles, using C, cast on 24 sts. Work even in St st until piece measures 24” from beg, end on WS. Bind off all sts.
FINISHING
Fold pillow so that cast-on edge and bound-off edge are tog. Sew these 2 edges tog with sewing thread. Sew 1side edge. Insert pillow form, stretching pillow to fit. Sew 2nd side edge.
PILLOW 2b
GAUGE
Same as for Pillow 2a.
Pillow: With straight needles, using E, cast on 18 sts. Work even in St st until piece measures 18” from beg, end on WS. Bind off all sts.
FINISHING
Work same as for Pillow 2a.
PILLOW 2c

Pillow: With straight needles, using G, cast on 27 sts. Work even in St st until piece measures 27” from beg, end on WS. Bind off all sts.
