SIZE
18" long x 36” wide (Not including edging).
MATERIALS
BERROCO CHINCHILLA BULKY (50 grs), 13 balls #7514 Roan (MC).
BERROCO ZAP (50 grs), 4 hanks #3530 Sable (CC)
Straight knitting needles, size 10 OR SIZE TO OBTAIN GAUGE.
Crochet Hook, size 7.00 mm (K).
GAUGE
12 sts = 4”; 19 rows = 4” in Reverse St st on size 10 needles with MC.TO SAVE TIME, TAKE TIME TO CHECK GAUGE.
PONCHO
With straight needles, cast on 54 sts. Work even in Reverse St st until piece measures 78” from beg, end on WS. Bind off all sts.
FINISHING
With RS facing, using crochet hook and 2 strands CC held tog. Join yarn at corner and work 1 row sc around entire rectangle. Join with a sl st in first sc. Ch 1, then work 1 sc in each sc around, working 3 sc’s in each corner. Join with a sl st in ch-1. Fasten off. Lay piece out flat in front of you, WS facing up, with cast-on edge on your right and bound-off edge on your left. Fold in half widthwise so that cast-on and bound-off edges are together at your left. Starting at the top left corner, sew sides of rectangle tog for 24”, leaving 12” before fold open for neck.
