SIZE
One size fits all.

 

MATERIALS
BERROCO SUEDE (50 grs), 1 ball #3757 Clementine.
Crochet hook, size 4.50 mm (G) OR SIZE TO OBTAIN GAUGE.
One 1 1/4” x 2 1/2” button from One World Button Supply.

 

GAUGE
7 sc’s = 2”; 6 rows = 2” in sc with 2 strands of yarn held tog.
TO SAVE TIME, TAKE TIME TO CHECK GAUGE.

 

BELT
Divide your ball of Suede into 2 equal balls. Measure your waist and allow 4” extra for overlap. With crochet hook, using 2 strands of yarn held tog, make a chain the desired length of your belt plus 10” extra for tying cord.
Row 1: Sc in 2nd ch from hook, then in each chain across, leaving 10” at end free for tying cord. Ch 1, turn.
Row 2: Working through front loop, sc in each sc across. Ch 1, turn.
Row 3: Working through back loop, sc in each sc across. Ch 1, turn. Rep Rows 2 and 3 once more, then rep Row 2 once. Fasten off. Sew button to center of belt 2” in from edge on the opposite end from tying cord. Knot the end of tying cord.
