SHAWL
With straight needles, using A, cast on 41 sts.
Row 1 (RS): K1, * p1, k1, rep from * across.
Row 2: P1, * k1, p1, rep from * across. Rep these 2 rows
until piece measures 1” from beg, end on WS, dec 1 st in center
of last row – 40 sts. Join B and add to A as in note. Work
even in Frost Flower Pat until piece measures 49” from beg,
end on WS, inc 1 st in center of last row – 41 sts. Fasten
off B and with A, work in ribbing same as for beg of shawl for 1”,
end on WS. Bind off all sts in ribbing.
