24” wide x 34” long.

MATERIALS
BERROCO SUEDE (50 grs), 5 balls #3753 Belle Star (MC).
BERROCO PLUSH COLORS (50 grs), 5 balls #1974 Cherry(CC).
Straight knitting needles, sizes 8 and 10 OR SIZE TO OBTAIN GAUGE.
Crochet hook, size 5.00 mm (H).

GAUGE
19 sts = 4”;  28 rows = 4” in St st with MC on size 8 needles.
12 sts = 4”;  20 rows = 4” in St st with CC on size 10 needles.
TO SAVE TIME, TAKE TIME TO CHECK GAUGE.

BLANKET
With smaller needles, using MC, cast on 114 sts.  Work even in St st until piece measures 34” from beg, end on WS.  Bind off all sts.

With larger needles, using CC, cast on 72 sts.  Work even in St st until piece measures 34” from beg, end on WS.  Bind off all sts.

FINISHING
Steam MC section lightly.  Place the 2 sections of blanket together with WS facing each other.  Pin all edges tog easing in any fullness.
Edging:  With MC section facing you, using crochet hook, join CC in any corner.  Work in sc around entire blanket, working through both thicknesses and working 3 sc’s in each corner.  Join with a sl st in first sc.
Rnd 2:  Ch 2, work 1 dc in each sc around entire blanket, working 3 dc’s in each corner.  Join with a sl st in ch-2.  Fasten off.
