MATERIALS
BERROCO VIBE (50 grs), 2 balls each #4503 Unforgettable (A), #4509 Green Door (B), #4505 Fever (C) and #4512 Little Girl Blue (D) and 3 balls each #4511 Doo Wop (E) and #4502 Miss Otis Regrets (F).

Straight knitting needles, size 15 OR SIZE TO OBTAIN GAUGE.

GAUGE
14 sts = 4”;  24 rows = 4” in Garter Stitch.
TO SAVE TIME, TAKE TIME TO CHECK GAUGE.

NOTE
This throw is made all in one piece, adding squares as you go along.  For those who like a very symetrical look, make one row as in directions, then add second row, etc following our color placement chart.  All of the diagonals will go in the same direction.  For free spirits who like to make things up as they go along, just make your first square, then add squares in any sequence and direction that you like.  Just remember that the placement of your k3 tog in the center determines the direction of the diagonal.  Our model was made in this manner, using the same color placement chart.  If you wish to switch colors, note that you will need 2 balls of Vibe for 3 squares.

THROW
Square 1:  With straight needles, using A, cast on 41 sts.
Rows 1 and 2:  Knit.
Row 3 (Right Side Row):  K19, k3 tog, k19 – 39 sts.
Row 4:  Knit.
Row 5:  K18, k3 tog, k18 – 37 sts.
Row 6:  Knit.  In this manner, continue to dec 2 sts in center of every other row until 3 sts remain, end when you have just completed a wrong side row.  K3 tog and fasten off.
Square 2:  With RS facing, using E, pick up and k20 sts along left edge of square 1, then cast on 21 sts – 41 sts.  Knit 1 row then, beg with Row 3, complete same as for square 1.  Continue in this way to make 2 more squares, using colors F then B, so that you have a row of 4 squares as shown at bottom of color placement chart.
Square 5:  With F, cast on 20 sts, then with right side facing, pick up and k21 sts along upper edge of square 1 – 41 sts.  Knit 1 row then, beg with Row 3, complete same as for square 1.
Square 6: With RS facing, pick up and k20 sts along left edge of square 5, then pick up and k21 sts along upper edge of square 2 – 41 sts.  Knit 1 row then, beg with Row 3, complete same as for square 1.  In this manner, continue to add squares until you have 5 rows of 4 squares each.
