MATERIALS
3 Hanks BERROCO ULTRA ALPACA TONAL (100 grs), #6318 Oliva
29” Length circular knitting needles, sizes 8 (5.00 mm) and 9 (5.50 mm) OR SIZE TO OBTAIN GAUGE
1 St marker

GAUGE
16 sts = 4”; 18 rnds = 4” in Rib Pat on smaller needle
TO SAVE TIME, TAKE TIME TO CHECK GAUGE

HALF CARDIGAN RIB
Rnd 1:  * K1, sl 1 purlwise WYIF; put yarn to back over the needle (in other words, slip 1 and yo at the same time), rep from * around.
Rnd 2:  * K1, purl the slipped st and the yo tog as one, rep from * around.
Rep these 2 rnds for Rib Pat.

COWL

With larger circular needle, cast on 134 sts.  Join, being careful not to twist sts.  Mark for beg of rnd and carry marker up.  Change to smaller needle and work even in Rib Pat for 17”.  Bind off loosely purlwise.

Note:  The RS and WS will be different.  Use the side you like best as RS of cowl.
