One size fits most.

MATERIALS
BERROCO CHINCHILLA (50 grs), 2 balls #5422 Plum (A).

BERROCO SUEDE (50 grs), 1 ball #3745 Calamity Jane (B).
BERROCO CRYSTAL FX (50 grs), 2 balls each #4705 Alexandrite (C) and #4702 Amethyst (H).
BERROCO MOHAIR CLASSIC HEATHER (43 grs), 1 ball #6408 (D).
BERROCO QUEST (50 grs), 1 hank #9815 Chambord (E).
BERROCO SOFTWIST BULKY (100 grs), 1 hank #7442 Fig (F).
BERROCO SOFTY (50 grs), 1 ball #2941 Bella Donna (G).
29” length circular knitting needle, size 10 OR SIZE TO OBTAIN GAUGE.
Crochet hook, size 4.00 mm (F).

GAUGE
20 sts = 4”;  23 rows = 4” in Pat St.TO SAVE TIME, TAKE TIME TO CHECK GAUGE.

PATTERN STITCH (Multiple of 18)
Row 1 (RS):
  Knit.
Row 2:
  Purl.
Row 3:  * (K2 tog) 3 times, (yo, k1) 6 times, (k2 tog) 3 times, rep from * across.
Row 4:  Knit.Rep these 4 rows for Pat St.

STRIPE SEQUENCE* Working in Pat St, work 8 rows each of A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H.  Rep from * 3 times more for Stripe Sequence.

PONCHO
With circular needle, using A, cast on 108 sts.  Work even in Pat St following Stripe Sequence until Stripe Sequence has been completed 4 times.  Piece should measure approximately 50” from beg.  With A, work 8 more rows of Pat St, end on WS.  Bind off all sts.

FINISHING
Lay piece flat in front of you with WS of work facing up.  Have cast-on edge at your left and bound-off edge at you right.  Sides of the piece are now on the top and bottom.  Fold piece in half so that cast-on edge and bound-off edge are together on your right and there is a fold on your left.  Starting at the top of the right side (2 edges), sew top edge together leaving 10” open before you reach the fold.  This is the neck.
Neck Edging:
  With RS facing, using crochet hook and A, join yarn at seam and work in sc around entire neck edge, join with a sl st in first sc.  Fasten off.
Lower Edging:
  With RS facing, using circular needle and A, beg at  lower end of bound-off edge, pick up and k198 sts along the entire lower edge of poncho.  Beg with Row 2, work 7 rows of Pattern Stitch, end on WS.  Bind off all sts.
