Approximately 8” around (at top edge) x 12” long

MATERIALS

1 Ball BERROCO SOX METALLIC (100 grs), #1375 Guava
1 Set (4) double pointed knitting needles (dpn), size 2 (2.75 mm) OR SIZE TO OBTAIN GAUGE
1 St marker

GAUGE

30 sts = 4”;  40 rnds = 4” in St st
TO SAVE TIME, TAKE TIME TO CHECK GAUGE

LEFT ARMWARMER

With dpn’s, cast on 52 sts.  Divide sts on 3 needles and join, being careful not to twist sts.  Mark for beg of rnd and carry marker up.  Work even in k2, p2 ribbing for 1/2”. Work even in St st (k EVERY rnd) until piece measures 2” from beg, end on WS.

Thumb Opening:  Next Rnd:  Bind off 6 sts, k to end.

Following Rnd:  Cast on 8 sts, k to end – 54 sts.  Work even in St st until piece measures 5” from beg.

Inc Rnd: K2, M1k, k to 2 sts before marker, M1k, k2 – 56 sts.  Rep this inc every 12 rnds 4 times more – 64 sts.  Work even until piece measures 12” from beg.  Work even in k2, p2 ribbing for 1/2”.  Bind off loosely in ribbing.

RIGHT ARMWARMER

Work same as left armwarmer until piece measures 2” from beg – 52 sts.

Thumb Opening:  Next Rnd:  K to last 6 sts, bind off 6 sts.

Following Rnd:  K to bound-off sts, cast on 8 sts – 54 sts.  Complete same as left armwarmer.
