Approximately 31” wide x 37” long

 

MATERIALS

1 Hank each BERROCO TOUCHE (50 grs), #7906 Sweet Sue Blue (A), #7958 Mango (B), #7908 Red Red (C), #7917 Peeps (D) and #7930 Green Tea (E)

1 Ball each BERROCO PLUSH (50 grs), #1924 Jazzy Turquoise (F), #1920 Orange Flash (G), #1907 Sunspot (H), #1928 Birdy (I) and #1944 Sprout (J)

29” Length circular knitting needle, size 9 (5.50 mm) OR SIZE TO OBTAIN GAUGE

 

GAUGE

18 sts = 4”;  32 rows = 4” in Pat St following Stripe Sequence

TO SAVE TIME, TAKE TIME TO CHECK GAUGE

 

PATTERN STITCH (Multiple of 14 + 3)

Row 1 (RS):  K2, * yo, k5, k3 tog, k5, yo, k1, rep from * to last st, end k1.

Row 2:  K1, p to last st, end k1.

Rows 3 and 4:  Knit.

Rep these 4 rows for Pat St.

 

STRIPE SEQUENCE

Working in Pat St, work 8 rows (2 repeats) of each color as follows:  A, F, B, G, C, H, D, I, E, then J.  Repeat these 80 rows twice more (a total of 240 rows).

 

BLANKET

With circular needle, using A, cast on 143 sts.  DO NOT join.  Work back and forth following Pat St and Stripe Sequence for 240 rows, end on WS.  Bind off with J.
