FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
Bust – 38(42-46-50-54)".
Length – 20.5(20.5-21-21.5-21.5)".

MATERIALS
BERROCO PRONTO (50 grs), 3(3-3-3-4) balls #4400 Bleach White (A), 4(4-4-4-5) balls #4470 Fire (B) and 6(6-7-7-8) balls #4406 Navy (C).
Straight knitting needles, size 10.5 OR SIZE TO OBTAIN GAUGE.
Crochet Hook, size 6.00 mm (J).
1 St Marker.

GAUGE
13 sts = 4"; 19 rows = 4" in St st.
TO SAVE TIME, TAKE TIME TO CHECK GAUGE.

STRIPE PATTERN
* Working in St st, work 12 rows with B, then 12 rows with A. Rep from * for Stripe Pat (Repeat of 24 rows).

BACK
With straight needles, using B, cast on 31(34-37-41-44) sts, place marker, then using C, cast on 31(34-37-41-44) sts – 62(68-74-82-88) sts. Keeping sts before marker in St st with C and sts after marker in Stripe Pat, work even until piece measures 12.5" from beg, end on WS.
Shape Armholes: Row 1 (RS): K1, sl 1, k2 tog, psso, work to last 4 sts, k3 tog, k1.
Row 2: Work even in pat as established. Rep these 2 rows 2(2-2-2-3) times more, end on WS.
Next Row (RS): K1, SSK, work to last 3 sts, k2 tog, k1. Work 1 row even. Rep the last 2 rows 1(1-1-1-0) times more – 46(52-58-66-70) sts. Work even in pat as established until armholes measure 8(8-8 .5-9-9)", end on WS. Bind off all sts, dropping marker.

FRONT
Reversing placement of Stripe Pat, work same as for back until armholes measure 5.5(5.5-6-6.5-6.5)", end on WS – 46(52-58-66-70) sts.
Shape Neck: Next Row (RS): Work 17(20-23-26-28) sts, join another ball of yarn and bind off next 6(6-6-7-7) sts, drop marker, join another ball of C and bind off next 6(6-6-7-7) sts, work to end. Working both sides at once, bind off 2 sts at each neck edge once, then dec 1 st at each neck edge every RS row 3 times. When armholes measure 8(8-8.5-9-9)" end on same row of Stripe Pat as for back. Bind off 12(15-18-21-23) sts each side for shoulders.

LEFT SLEEVE
With straight needles, using C, cast on 32(32-32-34-34) sts. Work in St st, inc 1 st each side every 4th row 0(0-1-1-4) times, every 6th row 6(6-12-12-10) times, then every 8th row 5(5-0-0-0) times – 54(54-58-60-62) sts. Work even until sleeve measures 17" from beg, end on WS.
Shape Cap: Work same as armhole shaping for back, end on WS – 38(38-42-44-44) sts. Bind off all sts loosely.

RIGHT SLEEVE
With straight needles, using B, cast on 32(32-32-34-34) sts. Working in Stripe Pat, work same as for left sleeve.

FINISHING
Steam pieces lightly. Sew shoulder seams. Sew in sleeves. Sew side and sleeve seams, matching stripes.
Neck Edging: With RS facing, using crochet hook and C, beg at center back neck, work 1 rnd sc around entire neck edge, join with a sl st in first sc. Fasten off.
