THROW

With circular needle, cast on 258 sts.  Work in k1, p1 ribbing for 6 rows, dec 1 st each end of every row – 246 sts.  Work Set-Up Row of Cable Pat, then work even in Cable Pat until piece measures 59” from beg, end on WS.  Work in k1, p1 ribbing for 6 rows, inc 1 st at each end of every row, working incs in ribbing, end on WS – 258 sts.  Bind off in ribbing.

Edging:  With RS facing, using circular needle, pick up and k320 sts along one long edge of throw.  Work in k1, p1 ribbing for 5 rows, inc 1 st each end of every row, working incs in ribbing, end on WS – 330 sts.  Bind off in ribbing.  Repeat along the other long end of throw.  Sew corners tog.
