How to wrap hangers:
You will need a wooden coat hanger, double sided transparent tape, leftover scarf yarns and 5 metal hoops or bangle bracelets to create these festive scarf or tie organizers. Simply apply tape to one side of hanger and wrap the yarns around and around until the wooden part is completely covered. You may need to put a drop of glue or use a glue gun at either end to hold the yarns in place and to cover ends completely. Use a short length of satin ribbon for a bow at the base of the hook. With a tapestry needle and yarn, sew hoops to the hanger at even intervals as shown above. Be creative with mixing yarn and colors, matte and shine yarns, furry and glitzy yarns. |
