2007 Readers' Favorites

norah gaughan vol.1

Norah Gaughan Vol 1 was a best seller. We are thrilled that it has had a second print run. Several trunk shows circulated among shops to promote the book. With samples in smaller and larger sizes, the knitters had a chance to try on garments and see first hand that Norah designs for all figure types. Many knitters were amazed at how these garments looked on them. You can see some photos from the events on the Berroco Design Studio Blog. Among the most popular items from this book are the cobweb shawl astrid and justina, a skirt/jumper.

#262 Yin & Yang, #264 Peruvia

Another of your favorite was Booklet #262 Yin & Yang.  Norah and I collaborated on this collection that spanned the seasons with easy to knit, modern looks and asymmetrical silhouettes that work equally well in our cotton and woolen yarns. It also went into a second printing. The success of these styles lead us to continue the look in our Booklet #264 Peruvia™. The coat on the cover, Portia, is definitely a readers' favorite.

#265 everything felted

Bags continue to be popular because felting woolen yarn is a fascinating and economical technique to produce a material as durable and structurally plyable as leather.  Our Booklet #265 everything felted continues to be a favorite of felters.  We are still exploring the felting possibilities and there is so much more to do.  Your favorties from this book include the useful pocketed wall hanging, Organiza and Zoom, a zebra tote.
