Floence, Italy - 2008

Snapshots 1
We had to make sure our model didn't freeze
—it was a cold and windy October day.

Snapshots 2
It takes a team! Note the heavy duty clamps
I'm grasping—we used those to weight down
the outfits' floaty layers.

Snapshots 1
I have to admit, I love wearing that tool belt. To get an ethereal look we layered lots of sheer dresses and skirts. Pretty, but it needed lots of primping.

Snapshots 1
We went with more subdued expressions
but our model was actually cheery and has a radiant smile.

Snapshots 1
Our photographer is an observant one and
often snaps quiet little candids like this.

Snapshots 1
The black boots and tights were purely
functional (and out of the frame) but I'm sort of loving the sweet-tough combo.

Snapshots 1
Norah has a fascination with biological specimens as props.

Snapshots 1
A bracelet adds a little pop of color to what ended up a cover shot.

Snapshots 1
Sometimes we all SWARM around the model
as soon as the photographer stops snapping.

Snapshots 1
Do not devour the prop food, do NOT
devour the prop food.

Snapshots 1
When I step in to model it's hard to get a picture of me not talking or cracking a joke...
