Norah's hardcover book Knitting Nature was so well received that we decided it was time to publish a Berroco volume from Norah's unique point of view. Thus, norah gaughan vol.1 was conceived.

Two engaging fashion "stories" are reflected in the dual covers of the book's unique flip book design. One, Eleanor's Search, is a journey through web-like circles, patterned hexagons and inspiring lace, beguiling the seeker with rich, warm and intriguing effects. Light weight pullovers, fascinating accessories and must-have cardigans take on a romantic air while remaining thoroughly modern.

The other story, Urban Layers, guides knitters along new pathways of metro dressing with layers of bold feminine knitwear. In this story, knit pieces are shown layered in outfits and also photographed on their own, as still lifes. These items are meant to be mixed up to suit your needs, so pick your favorites and layer your way.

Telling both stories in one book, Norah has created 22 strong patterns to engage knitters who are just beginning their creative journeys and those who are experienced travelers. The editorial style of photography creates the first in a series of great collector's books. For her designs, she focuses on three versatile Berroco yarns — Ultra™Alpaca, Ultra™Alpaca Light and Pure™Merino — prized for their rich hues and elegant hands.

The muted shades are perfect for menswear.
